Provenance:

Acquired c. 1601 by Philip William (1554-1618), the oldest son of Prince William of Orange, who was received in the Order of the Golden Fleece in 1598; by descent to the Princes of Orange-Nassau, the later Stadholders, at The Hague; transfered in 1798 to the then newly-erected National Library (now: Koninklijke Bibliotheek)
