Material:

Vellum, ff. 204, 285x185 (200/180x150) mm, 16 lines (text) and up to 42 lines (glosses), littera pregotica, Binding: 18th-century black velvet over older brown leather; with clamps inscribed on inside: "S.M.I. Pierson PBR"

Decoration:

4 historiated initials (115/45x75/55 mm); 1 decorated page with 5 historiated roundels (200x145 mm); decorated initials (ff. 31v, 68v, 89r, 110v, 128r, etc.)

Provenance:

member of the Pierson family (S.M.I.?; 18th century). Joseph Désiré Lupus (d. 1822) of Brussels; purchased with his collection in 1819 by King William I of The Netherlands; kept from 1819-1822 at the Musée Lupus in the Palace of Charles de Lorraine at Brussels (no. A1) and transferred in 1823 to the KB
