Vellum, ff. 343, 150x100 (95x70) mm, 22 lines, littera textualis, Binding: 19th-century green leather; gilt

Decoration:

2 full-page miniatures (95x70 mm) with border decoration in Utrecht style (`tripetals-and-teardrops'); penwork initials with pen-flourishes in South Holland style (`visblaas/knuistje'; ff. 11r, 19v, 41r, 52r, 63r, etc.)

Provenance:

Ex-libris with motto `Dit of dood' (c. 1900). Purchased in 1980 at a sale at Sotheby's, London (cat. June 24, no. 90)

Annotation:

Utrecht calendar (Holland): feasts in red include St. Jeroen (August 17); first leaf with January and part of February missing. Litany: St. Augustine first among the confessors. Full-page miniature possibly missing before f. 243 (Seven Verses of St.Bernard)
