Vellum, ff. 169, 143x102 (78x53) mm, 17 lines, littera textualis, Binding: 16th-century brown leather; blind (spine repaired)

Decoration:

15 full-page miniatures (81/76x67/54 mm) with border decoration; decorated initials with border decoration (ff. 14r, 25v, 39r, 45r, 50r, etc.); penwork initials with pen-flourishes (ff. 15v, 18r, 18v, 24v, 29v, etc.)

Provenance:

Purchased in 1976 at a sale at Hartung & Karl, Munich (cat. 9-11 Nov. cat. 18, no. 8)

Annotation:

Liège calendar: feasts in red include St. Hubert (3 November) and St. Leonard (6 November). Leaf with full-page miniature missing before f. 14 (Hours of the Virgin, Matins), and possibly before f. 98 (Prayer to Mary: "O intemerata"), f. 102 (Hours of the Holy Spirit)and f. 126 (Penitential Psalms)
