Vellum, ff. 290, 147x105 (100x61) mm, 19 lines, littera textualis, Binding: 15th/16th-century brown leather; blind made c. 1500 by one of the Van Gavere binders in Gent

Decoration:

1 full page miniature (104x59 mm); 1 historiated initial (48x60 mm); 26 illustrations in the margin; penwork initials with pen-flourishes (8r, 176r, 121v, 231v, 245v, etc)

Provenance:

Suster Alit Snoex (d. 1517). D.-C. and J.-J. van Voorst; their sale in 1860 at Frederik Muller, Amsterdam (cat. 17 Oct., p. 15, no. 123). Six van Hillegom (bookplate); his sale in 1928 at Frederik Muller, Amsterdam (17-18 Nov. 1928, cat. no. 194). Purchased in 1959 ata sale at J.L. Beyers, Utrecht (cat. 21 April, no. 40) with support of the Friends of the Royal Library
