Northern Netherlands; c. 1460-1480. Added miniatures: Delft, Master of the Delft Half-length Figures; c. 1460-1480. Added border decoration: Delft(?), `kriezel' with elements of Lieven van Lathem; c. 1460-1480

Material:

Vellum, ff. 176, 160x110 (95x60) mm, 16 lines, littera textualis, Binding: 18th(?)-century brown leather over 16th-century wooden boards

Decoration:

Penwork initials with pen-flourishes (ff. 1r, 70v, 71v, 73r, 74r, etc. and different style: f. 171r)
Added: 4 full-page miniatures (c. 110x60 mm) with border decoration; 5 historiated initials (40/30x40/25 mm) with border decoration; decorated initials with border decoration (ff. 26r, 37v, 42r, 45v, 54r, etc); all border decoration in Delft style (`kriezel', partlywith `droleries' related to those of Lieven van Lathem)

Sold in 1937 at Sotheby's, London (cat. 26 April ff., no. 241). E. Boekman, Amsterdam; purchased in 1940 from C. Boekman

Utrecht calender. Leaf with full-page miniature missing before f. 79 (Hours of the Holy Spirit). Traces of pilgrim badges on 129v-130r
