Vellum, ff. 113, 181x122 (100x73) mm, 21 lines, littera textualis, Binding: contemporary brown leather; blind (rebacked)

Decoration:

Penwork initials with pen-flourishes in South Holland style (related to `loops'; ff. 9v, 12r, 17v, 18r, 22r, etc.)
Added: 5 miniatures (98x73 mm) with border decoration; 4 historiated initials (c. 37x36 mm) with border decoration; 1 decorated initial with border decoration

Purchased in 1896 from J.I. Boas Berg

Annotation:

Utrecht calendar: feasts in red include St. Jeroen (17 August). Opening leaves, probably containing full-page miniature and historiated initial, missing before f. 7 (Hours of the Virgin). All miniatures and historiated initials on bifolia, replacing original leaves,text on opening leaves renewed
