2 full-page miniatures (64/61x34 mm) with border decoration, 4 miniatures ( x mm) with border decoration, 25 miniatures ( x mm), 1 historiated initial (20x24 mm), 3 illustrations in the margin; decorated initials with border decoration (16r, 27r, 35v, 55r, 93r, etc.).All border decoration in Ghent-Bruges style (`strewn borders'). Penwork initials with pen-flourishes throughout


Hendrick Palinx (# cent.). Purchased in 1898 from antiquarian bookseller Fievez, Brussels


Bruges calendar: feasts in red include St. Basilius (14 June) and St. Donatian (14 October). Leaf with miniature probably missing before f. 100 (Suffage to St. Mary Magdalen)
