Boekenoogen of Amsterdam; his sale in 1940 at Mensing & fils, Amsterdam (cat. 9 April, no. 929, fig.); where purchasedby A.M Dorsemagen-van Hees, Heemstede; purchased in 1977 at a sale at Sotheby's, London (cat. 13 July, no. 68)

Annotation:

Utrecht calendar (Holland): feasts in gold include St. Adalbert (25 June) and St. Jeroen (17 August). First quire of Hours of the Virgin (ff. 13-19) now misbound, originally before f. 43. Several leaves missing: leaf with full-page miniature and opening leaf withhistoriated initial missing before f. 20 (Hours of the Eternal Wisdom, Prologue); opening leaf with historiated initial missing before f. 14 (Hours of the Virgin, Matins); full-page miniature missing before f. 77 (Long Hours of the Cross)
