Material:

Vellum, ff. 246, 117x85 (71x53) mm, 16 lines, littera textualis, Binding: 18th-century brown leather; gilt at spine and once covered in red velvet

Decoration:

8 historiated initials (42/30x45/33 mm) with border decoration; decorated initials with border decoration (ff. 7r, 7v, 8v, 9r, 10r, etc.); penwork initials with pen-flourishes throughout

Provenance:

Antonius Ycar (18th century). Sold by antiquarian bookseller H.P. Kraus, New York (cat. no. 115, no. 15, fig.). Purchased in 1967 from antiquarian bookseller Meyer Elte, The Hague

Annotation:

Utrecht calendar. Opening leaves with historiated initials missing before f. 7 (Psalm 1) anf f. 123 (Psalm 80)
