11 full-page miniatures (105x60 mm) with border decoration; 4 historiated initials (50/40x60/50 mm) with border decoration; 7 historiated initials (22/18x25/22 mm) with border decoration; 1 illustration in the margin; decorated initials with border decoration (ff.49r, 51v, 52v, 54r, 55r); all decoraton in Delft style (`kriezel'); penwork initials with pen-flourishes in Delft style throughout

A.F. Westphalen of Alkmaar (1660). Purchased in 1900 from antiquarian bookseller J. Rosenthal, Munich

Annotation:

Calendar: feasts in red include St. Hippolytus (August 13), St. Jeroen (August 17) and the 11,000 Virgins (October 23)
